Cedar Hill Quilters Guild was established in 1988 as a local outreach for the continuation of our "Quilting Heritage". We are a generation that stitches quilts because we want to! We make them to show our creativity, our love for our families and our personalities. Quilts are a loving treasure and so are their makers.
To date, we have 57 members, and our monthly meetings include a short business meeting, “show and tell”, guest speakers, demos and classes by local quilt makers and teachers, fabric and block exchanges, raffles, a hospitality break, and, of course, information swapping. We make and donate quilts to comfort at-risk children. We also make and raffle a queen-sized quilt each year to raise funds for charitable purposes.
Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month except July, and December from 6:30 to 9:00pm at the Cedar Hill Recreation Center. The Center is conveniently located at 310 East Parkerville Road near Hwy 67 @ Tidwell in Cedar Hill, TX 75014. Click here for map.
