Cindy F. is stepping down from her position as secretary. Julie C. will be the new secretary. Thank you Julie.


We had a Christmas feast. Thank you to everyone who brought food and/or drinks. Thank you too all who helped set up and clean up. We had a wonderful time visiting and eating. 

Gift Exchange-

This was a wonderful way to see other quilter's creativity. I was glad to see such a variety of Christmas things. We truly are a talented group. 


Diana B. - finished a UFO for her daughter. It was given to another member for the October trick or treat.
Mary D. - finished a UFO from 1997
Barbara S. - lap robe for her daughter, cross quilt for her daughter-in-law, 2 lap robes for the VA
Gina P. - finished 3 quilts from her husband's shirts
CJ F. - a quilt for her grandaughter and one for her grandson also

January 1st is the deadline to turn in your Special Olympic scarves. Contact Georgia C. for more details.

The knitting group will meet at Marilyn's house on the first Saturdays of the month and at the library the 3rd Saturday of the month.

Gift Card Drawing

Numerous gift cards were given out to people who helped sell tickets for the charity quilt. Thank you all for helping.

There is a retreat opportunity coming up in March at the Compass Center in Mount Calm, Texas. It is March 2- March 5, 2017. The cost is $262. This is a great time for uninterrupted sewing and visting and eating. Bring your UFO or a new project or both. 


We did not recognize the birthdays for December during the meeting (oops). I would like to mention them here though...
