Madhatters- meet 1st Saturday of every month at Marilyn’s house at 10:00 a.m. Last month they gave 115 hats to Parkland.
Corner Square Quilts – March 31st – hand appliqué class from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 or 3:00 p.m. Linda Brown will be teaching. This class is full, however, if there is enough interest, another session could be a possibility. Contact the shop for more details.
June- this program will star …all of you lovely quilters. This is a time to show your 1st quilt ever and a recent quilt.

Rhonda H. - her husband had surgery
Gloria D - her mom had an accident and fractured her leg and is not doing very well
Jean S. – fell and had 14 staples in her head, but is doing much better
Brenda – fell and fractured her foot
Deborah – helped her mom move
Julie L. – her mom is declining and has dementia and Julie is sick
Donna P. – had surgery and need to be in rehab for about a month
Linda M. – dad is in the hospital
Rally is July 9th
Lunch is from McCallisters and the cost is $10.00.
Kimberly Inos is teaching workshops.
The raffle this year includes two different sewing machines – A Janome and a Pfaff.

We will pass out bags to make blocks in June and they are due by the August meeting.
Donation Quilt- has already been quilted by Gina P. It still needs binding. It measures 108.5” x 108.5”.

Corner Square Quilts – opened back up March 16, 2016 after some flooding caused them to close. They have a new block of the month starting called, “Rainbow Stars.” It is paper pieced and the cost is $20/month. Also, they would appreciate if you can pick up the old block of the month. They would also love to see your mystery quilts.
Seldom Seen Quilting – April 2nd is the 3rd anniversary. That will be an all day charity sewing day from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Ben Franklin – March – 20% off green fabrics. 30% off any fabric if you finish the bolt. April – 20% - non-fabric items.
Classes- beginner class is the 2nd Saturday – a baby doll class and “bunny tracks”
Gloria D. will be teaching “seasonal angels” classes. In March it is the fall angel. In April it is the winter angel.
