2014 Challenge

Judy had challenged us earlier in the year to create something "Ethnic" and they would be judged by our peers. Here is a representation of how talented some of our quilters are. While waiting for the tallies to be counted, Karen K. sang Julie Andrews rendition of "My Favorite Things" from the legendary movie the "Sound of Music". Remember if you are going to sing it, sing it loud and proud.

Grand Prize Winner (with 4 ribbons for the categories of My Favorite, I'd Like to Make That, Best Paper-Pieced, and Best Applique) - Maryln Z.

Ribbons were also awarded for:

Most Colorful: Barbara S. with her Nigerian quilt
Best Use of Color: Diana B for her Celtic Knots & Stars
Most Unique: Claudia K. for her quilt pin holder

Best Design: Ruth McK for her quilt made up of "Old English" designed blocks
I Can't Believe She Did That: Judy P. for her Japanese styled purse
