Cedar Hill Quilters Guild was established in 1988 as a local outreach for the continuation of our "Quilting Heritage". We are a generation that stitches quilts because we want to! We make them to show our creativity, our love for our families and our personalities. Quilts are a loving treasure and so are their makers.
To date, we have 67 members, and our monthly meetings include a short business meeting, “show and tell”, guest speakers, demos and classes by local quilt makers and teachers, fabric and block exchanges, raffles, a hospitality break, and, of course, information swapping. We make and donate quilts to comfort at-risk children. We also make and raffle a queen-sized quilt each year to raise funds for charitable purposes.
If you are ever in the area, please join us. have some fun and meet individuals with your common interests while discovering the joy of quilting! You will receive a warm welcome and delicious snacks! Remember, a NEW close friend is never more than a scant quarter inch away!
Membership is only $24/year. We ask all guests to complete the attached form. We meet on the 2nd (second) Monday of each month* at 6:30 p.m. at the Cedar Hill Recreation Center.
The Center is conveniently located at 310 East Parkerville Road near Hwy 67 @ Tidwell.
